جابر بن أسامة الجهني نزل المدينة وروى عن النبي ﷺ حديثا. . . . . ٢٩٨ - حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله أبو موسى نا يعقوب بن محمد الزهري نا عبد الله بن موسى بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن طلحة بن عبيد الله قال: ثني أسامة بن زيد عن معاذ بن عبد الله عن جابر بن أسامة الجهني قال: أتيت رسول الله ﷺ في أصحابه في السوق فسألت أصحابه: أين يريد؟ فقالوا: يخط القوم مسجدا فرجعت فإذا قوم قيام فقلت: ما بكم؟ قالوا: خط رسول الله ﷺ لنا مسجدا وغرز في القبلةخشبة أقامها فيها. قال أبو القاسم: ولا أعلم روى جابر بن أسامة غير هذا.
