بشير بن عقربة الجهني ويكنى أبا اليمان نزل الشام. ١٩٣ - حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله وعمي قالا نا سعيد بن منصور المكي نا حجر بن الحارث الغساني من أهل الرملة عن عبد الله بن عوف الكناني وكان عاملا لعمر بن عبد العزيز على الرملة أنه شهد عبد الملك بن مروان قال قال بشير بن عقربة الجهني يوم قتل عمرو بنسعيد: ياأبا [اليمان] إني قد احتجت اليوم إلى كلامك فقم فتكلم قال: إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: " من قام بخطبة لا يلتمس إلا رياء وسمعه وقفه الله ﷿ يوم القيامة موقف رياء وسمعه.قال أبو القاسم: لا أعلم لبشير بن عقربة غير هذا.١١ -
