نافع بن العباس بن جبير الجوهري التنيسي الحافظ؛ يكنى: أبا الحسن. قدم الأندلس تاجرا سنة تسع عشرة وأربع مائة. وكانت له رواية عالية عن شيوخ مصر وغيرهم من أهل العراق. وكان ذا علم بالاعتقادات متكلما عليها وضع فيها كتابا سماه الاستبصار. خمسة أجزاء. لقيه أبو محمد بن خزرج بإشبيلية وأخذ عنه، وهو ذكر خبره حسب ما ذكرته. اسم مفرد
