النعمان بن محمد بن زياد بن النعمان المصري؛ يكنى: أبا المنذر. قدم الأندلس تاجراً سنة اثنتين وعشرين وأربع مائة. روى عن عمه أبي العباس أحمد بن زياد. وكان مسندا وغيره. ودخل العراق، والحجاز ولقي جماعة. وكان بادي الخشوع والخير. روى عنه ابن خزرج وقال: أخبرنا بإشبيلية أن مولده سنة خمسٍ وأربعين وثلاث مائة.
