مرزوق بن فتح بن صالح القيسي: من أهل طلبيرة؛ يكنى: أبا الوليد. روى عن أبي عبد الله محمد بن موسى بن عبد السلام الحافظ، وعن أبي العباس وليد بن فتوح، وأبي الحسن التبريزي، وأبي عمرو السفاقسي، وأبي محمد الشنتجيالي، وأبي محمد بن عباس الخطيب وغيرهم. ورحل إلى المشرق وحج في موسم سنة ثمان وعشرين. ولقي بمكة أبا ذر الهروي فسمع منه، وأجاز له، وأخذ بمصر عن أبي محمد بن الوليد وغيره. وكان: من أهل المعرفة والتيقظ والنباهة، والمحافظة على الرواية، وأخبرنا عنه غير واحد من شيوخنا. وقرأت بخط بعضهم أنه توفي في جمادى الآخرة سنة اثنتين وثمانين وأربع مائة.
