محمد بن عيسى بن حسين التميمي البستي؛ يكنى: أبا عبد الله. دخل الأندلس طابا للعلم، فسمع من أبي عبد الله بن المرابط بالمرية، وأبي مروان ابن سرج وغيرهما. وكان من أهل العلم والفضل وتولى القضاء بسبتة وبفاس أيضا. وتوفي سنة ثلاث أو أربع وخمس مائة. ثم كتب إلى القاضي أبو الفضل يذكر أنه توفي صبيحة يوم السبت لسبع بقين من جمادى الأولى سنة خمس وخمسمائة. وكان مولده سنة سبع وعشرين وأربع مائة.
