محمد بن عيسى بن فرج بن أبي العباس بن إسحاق التميمي المغامي المقرئ: من أهل طليطلة؛ يكنى: أبا عبد الله. لقي أبا عمر المقرئ وعليه اعتمد. وروى عن أبي الربيع سليمان بن إبراهيم، وأبي محمد مكي بن أبي طالب المقرئ وغيرهم وكان عالما بالقراءات ووجهوهها ضابطا لها مثقفا لمعانيها إماما ذا دين وفضل. أخبرنا عنه غير واحد من شيوخنا ووصفه بالتجويد والمعرفة. وكان مولده يوم الجمعة بين الصلاتين لسبع عشرة ليلة خلت من ربيع الأول سنة اثنتين وأربع مائة. وتوفي بمدينة إشبيلية في منتصف ذي القعدة من سنة خمسٍ وثمانين وأربع مائة. وحبس كتبه على طلبة العلم الذين بالعدوة. ذكر بعضه ابن مطاهر.
