محمد بن عبد الله بن يزيد بن محمد بن خبير بن عيسى اللخمي، يعرف: بابن الأحدب: من أهل إشبيلية؛ يكنى: أبا عبد الله. روى عنه الخولاني وقال: كان رجلا صالحا، مقبلا على ما يعنيه، قديم الطلب جامعا للكتب والأصول، لقي جماعة من الشيوخ فكتب عنهم وسمع منهم. أحدهم أبو محمد الباجي. ولقي بقرطبة أبا عبد الله بن مفرج، وعباس بن أصبغ، وخلف بن القاسم وغيرهم. وروى عنه أيضا ابن خزرج وأثنى عليه وقال: توفي للنصف من شوال سنة سبع وثلاثين وأربع مائة. وهو ابن ثمانين سنة وأيام. ومولده سنة سبع وخمسين وثلاث مائة.
