محمد بن مضي النحوي: من أهل قرطبة؛ يكنى: أبا عبد الله. له رواية سمع زكرياء بن بكر بن الأشج، وعن فضل الله صهر القاضي منذر بن سعيد، وابن البياني وغيرهم. وكان من رؤساء النحويين، وكبار المتأدبين. أخذ عنه أبو بكر المصحفي كثيرا من كتب الأدب.
