محمد بن يمن بن محمد بن عدل بن رضا بن صالح بن عبد الجبار المرادي: من أهل مكادة؛ يكنى: أبا عبد الله. رحل إلى المشرق وروى عن الحسن بن رشيق، وعمر بن المؤمل، وأبي عبد الله البلخي، وأبي محمد بن أبي زيد وغيرهم. وكان رجلا فاضلا خطيبا لجامع مكادة. حدث عنه الصاحبان، وابن أبيض، وابن عبد السلام الحافظ. وأثنوا عليه توفي بعد سنة ستٍّ وأربع مائة.
