محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن سليمان بن معاوية بن سوار بن طريف ابن طارق بن محمد - الداخل مع بني أمية -. من أهل قرطبة؛ يكنى: أبا عبد الله. روى عن ابن الأحمر القرشي وأجاز له، حدث عنه أبو إسحاق وقال: مولده في ربيع الأول سنة ثلاث عشرة وثلاث مائة وسكناه بمقبرة مومرة. وهو إمام مسجد أبان.
