فرج بن أبي الحكم بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الرحيم اليحصبي: من أهل طليطلة يكنى: أبا الحسن. روى عن عبد الله بن دينار، وعبد الله بن يعيش، ومحمد بن عمر الفخار. وكان قد فات أهل زمانه في العلم والعقل والفضل؛ وكان يحفظ المستخرجة الكبيرة حفظا جيدا، ونوظر عليه في المسائل. وكان حفيل المجلس. وتوفي في عشرين ذي الحجة سنة ثمان وأربعين وأربع مائة. وحبس داره على طلبة السنة. ذكره ابن مطاهر.
