عثمان بن الحسن بن عثمان بن أحمد بن الخصيب البغدادي يكنى: أبا عمرو، ذكره أبو محمد بن خزرج وقال: قدم علينا سنة سبع عشرة وأربع مائة بإشبيلية فقرأنا عليه، وكان يروي عن أبي طاهر المقرئ البغدادي قرأ عليه بالقراءات السبع. وروى عنه جلة البغداديين وغيرهم. وكان مجودا للتلاوة محسنا، عالما بمعاني القرآن، وكان كبير السن جداً.
