    ٥٩٤٦ - العز الضرير (¬٢): العلامة المتفنن الفيلسوف الأصولي عز الدين حسن بن محمد بن أحمد ابن نجا الإربلي، الضرير، الرافضي، نزيل دمشق. كان باهرًا في علوم الأوائل. أقرأ في بيته مدة، وكان يقرئ الفلاسفة والمسلمين والذمة، وله هيبة وصولة، إلَّا أنه كان يخل بالصلوات، وطويته خبيثة، وكان قدرًا، لا يتوقى النجاسات، ابتلى بأمراض وعمر، وكان أحد الأذكياء. مات سنة ستين وست مائة، وله أربع وسبعون سنة.
