    ٤٩٨٢ - حنبل بن علي (¬١): أبو جعفر البخاري، ثم السجستاني الصوفي، نزيل هراة. روى عن: شيخ الإسلام، وأبي عامر الأزدي، ونجيب الواسطي، وأبي نصر الترياقي، وابن طلحة النعالي، وأبي الخطاب بن البطر، وعدة. وعنه: السمعاني، وابن عساكر، وأبو روح عبد المعز، وجماعة. وكان كيسًا ظريفًا. توفي بهراة، في شوال، سنة إحدى وأربعين وخمس مائة وله سبع وسبعون سنة، رحل وهو أمرد.
