    ٤٤٣٨ - أبو الأصبْع (¬١): العلامة أبو الأصبغ عيسى بن سهل بن عبد الله الأسدي، الجياني، المالكي. تفقه بمحمد بن عتاب، ولازمه، وسمع من حاتم الأطرابلسي ويحيى بن زكريا القليعي، والقاضي ابن أسد الطليطليو ابن أرفع رأسه، وصنف في الأحكام كتابًا حسنًا، ورأس بسبتة، نوه به صاحبها البرغواطي. وأخذ عنه القاضي أبو محمد بن منصور، والقاضي إبراهيم بن أحمد النصري، وأبو محمد بن الجوزي، وآخرون. وولى قضاء غرناطة. قال ابن بشكوال: يروى عن: مكي القيسي، وأبي بكر بن الغراب، وابن الشماخ. وتوفى مصروفا عن قضاء غرناطة: في المحرم، سنة ست وثمانين وأربع مائة، وله ثلاث وسبعون سنة.
