    ٤١٩١ - القاضي أبو تمام (¬١): قاضي واسط، المعمر المسند، أبو تمام علي بن محمد بن الحسن ابن يزداد البغدادي، الواسطي، المعتزلي. حدث عن: محمد بن المظفر الحافظ، وأبي الفضل الزهري وغيرهما. وتفرد في وقته. ومات في شوال سنة تسع وخمسين وأربع مائة. قال أبو بكر الخطيب: تقلد قضاء واسط مدة وكان معتزليًا. قلت: آخر من روى عنه بالإجازة أبو القاسم إسماعيل بن السمرقندي، وبالسماع أبو الكرم نصر الله بن محمد بن الجلخت الأزدي.
