    ٤٠٣٠ - أبو حسان المزكي (¬٢): الإمام الفقيه، مسند نيسابور، أبو حسان، محمد بن أحمد بن جعفر، المولقاباذي المزكي، أحد الثقات الصلحاء، وكان إليه التزكية بنيسابور، وله الحشمة الوافرة والجلالة. حدث عن: والده أبي الحسن، وأبي العباس محمد بن إسحاق الصبغي، ومحمد بن الحسن السراج، وأبي عمرو بن مطر، وأبي عمرو بن نجيد، وجعفر المراغي، وطائفة. وسمع ببغداد من أبي الفضل عبيد الله ابن عبد الرحمن الزهري، وغيره. وخرجوا له الفوائد، وروى الكثير. حدث عنه: إسماعيل بن عبد الغافر الفارسي، وعبد الغفار بن محمد الشيرويي، وإسماعيل بن عمرو البحيري، وآخرون. توفي سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وأربع مائة وهو في عشر التسعين.
