    ١٧٠٨ - أبو يحيى الحماني (¬١): " خ، د، ت، ق" أصله من خوارزم ولقبه: بشمين. ولد بعد العشرين ومائة. وحدث عن: الأعمش وبريد بن عبد الله بن أبي بردة، وطلحة بن يحيى التيمي، وطلحة بن عمرو المكي، وأبي حنيفة والحسن بن عمارة وعدة. روى عنه: ابنه، وأحمد بن عمر الوكيعي والحسن بن علي الحلواني، ومحمد بن عاصم الثقفي، وعباس الدوري وأحمد بن عبد الحميد الحارثي والحسن بن علي بن عفان وآخرون كثير. وكان من علماء الحديث وثقه: يحيى بن معين. وقال النسائي: ليس بالقوي. وقال أبو داود: كان داعية إلى الإرجاء. قال هارون: مات سنة اثنتين ومائتين.
