١٢٤٣ - أما المُفَضَّل بن فَضَالة (¬١): " د، ت، ق" ابن أبي أمية، أبو مالك، القرشي مولاهم، البصري، أخو مبارك بن فضالة، فأقدم قليلا من صاحب الترجمة. روى عن: بكر بن عبد الله المزني، وثابت البناني، وحبيب بن الشهيد، وعاصم بن أبى النجود، وجماعة. وعنه: حماد بن زيد، وعبد الرحمن بن مهدي، وأبو سلمة، ويونس بن محمد، وجماعة. قال النسائي، وغيره: ليس بالقوي. وقال أبو حاتم: يكتب حديثه. قلت: له في الكتاب حديث واحد.
