هي أم الكرام، وقيل أم الخير، فخر النساء بنت أبي الفضائل أسعد ابن القاضي أبي أحمد محمد بن أبي زرعة عبد الواحد بن زكريا القاضي الأصبهاني، من أهل أصبهان.من بيت الحديث والعلم. وهي زوجة شيخنا أبي القاسم الحسن بن محمد بن مهران التميمي. سمعت أبا سعيد رجاء بن عبد الواحد بن عبد الله بن قولويه المعقلي. كتبت عنها المجالس الأربعين من أمالي محمد بن إبراهيم الجرجاني، بروايتها عن رجاء بن قولويه، عنه.
