أبو الرضا، المؤيذ بن الحسن بن عيسى بن الحسن، الزوزني، من أهل زوزن. كان فقيهًا، فاضلًا، مناظرًا، عالمًا بالأدب، واللغة، مشتغلًا بما يعينة. تفقه على الإمام والدي ﵀ مدة، وكان معه بنيسابور، ثم بعد وفاته سكن بلخ إلى أن توفي بها. سمع بنيسابور أبا القاسم إسماعيل بن الحسين بن علي الفرائضي، وأبا الفتيان عمر بن عبد الكريم الرواسي، وأبا نصر الفضل بن محمد بن أحمد بن البحيري النوقاني، وغيرهم. لقيته ببلخ، وكتبت عنه بها، وكتب عني إملاء. وكانت ولادته بزوزن، سنة نيف وثمانين وأربع مائة تقديرًا. وتوفي ببلخ في الحادي والعشرين من شهر رمضان، سنة ثمان وأربعين وخمس مائة، ودفن بمقبرة باب نوبهار.
