شيخ آخر: أبو بكر، محمد بن الحسن بن أبي بكر بن نديمة، الصيدلاني، الطبيب، من أهل مرو. كان والده من خواص أصحاب جدي والمنتمين إليه. وأما أبو بكر هذا فكان شيخًا مستورًا، يقعد في العطارين يعالج الناس، يتعيش به؛ لأنه كان قليل ذات اليد فقيرًا. سمع أبا الخير محمد بن موسى بن عبد الله المروزي، وأبا الفتوح عبد الغافر بن الحسين الكاشغري الحافظ. قرأت عليه جميع كتاب الجامع الصحيح لأبي عبد الله البخاري بروايته عن أبي الخير. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ستين وأربع مائة، وتوفي في سنة نيف وثلاثين وخمس مائة.
