شيخ آخر: هو الأمير أبو قدامة، محمد بن الحسن بن محمد بن الحسن بن أبي قدامة القرشي، الهروي، من أهل هراة من بيت الشرف. سمع أبا أحمد إسماعيل بن عبد الله بن محمد الخازمي، وأبا سهل نجيب بن ميمون الواسطي، وأبا عبد الله الحسين بن محمد الكتبي، وغيرهم. كتبت عنه بهراة، ومن جملة ما كتبت عنه كتاب الجواهر لشكر، بروايته عن الخازمي، عن أبي عثمان القرشي، عن أبي القاسم الفوشنجي، عنه. وكانت ولادته في رجب، سنة سبعين وأربع مائة بهراة. ومات بها في سنة ست وأربعين وخمس مائة.
