شيخ آخر: هو أبو منصور، محمد بن إسماعيل بن سعيد بن علي بن الحسين، اليعقوبي، الصوفي، الفوشنجي، من فوشنج.انتقل إلى هراة وسكنها، وكان يعظ وله تبع من الصوفية ينفق عليهم، وإذا حصل له شيء من الدنيا ينفقه ولا يبخل به، غير أن الناس يسيئون الثناء عليه. سمع والده أبا محمد، وأبا منصور عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عفيف الفوشنجي المعروف بكلار. سمعت منه جزءًا واحدًا من حديث علي بن الجعد بروايته عن كلار، عن ابن أبي شريح، عن البغوي، عنه. وكانت ولادته. . . وأربع مائة بفوشنج، وتوفي بقرية ناب، من نواحي ماراباذ سلخ رجب، سنة خمسين وخمس مائة.
