شيخ آخر: هو أبو عمرو عثمان بن أحمد بن أبي الفضل الأشفورقاني الحصيري من أهل أشفورقان، المعروف بنال باف. كان إماما فاضلا، حسن السيرة، جميل الأمر، وكان إمام جامع أشفورقان. سمع: أبا جعفر محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي القصر الخطيب السجزي، وأبا جعفر محمد بن الحسين السمنجاني الفقيه، وأبا جعفر محمد بن محمد بن الحسن الشرابي، وغيرهم.انتخبت عليه من الأمالي التي كتبتها عن هذه المشايخ جزأين، وقرأتها عليه بأشفورقان منصرفي من بلخ. وكانت ولادته تقديرا منه في سنة إحدى وسبعين وأربع مائة. ووفاته في سنة تسع وأربعين وخمس مائة بأشفورقان.
