شيخ آخر: هو أبو الفتح عبد الفتاح بن أميرجه بن أبي سعيد المعير الهروي الصيرفي من أهل هراة، سكن مرو. كان شيخا صالحا، ظريفا، بهي المنظر، راغبا في الخير. سمع بهراة: الإمام أبا إسماعيل عبد الله بن محمد الأنصاري، لم يقرأ عليه أحد الحديث قبلي. واتفق أني وجدت مجلسا من إملاء الأنصاري عنه، فنقلت سماعه وحملت المجلس إلى مرو، وقرأت عليه ذلك المجلس، فسمع جماعة منه. وكانت ولادته بهراة في حدود سنة سبعين وأربع مائة. ووفاته بمرو ليلة الثلاثاء، ودفن يوم الأربعاء أول يوم من شهر رمضان، سنة ست وأربعين وخمس مائة، ودفن بسنجذان.
