شيخ آخر: هو أبو الفتوح عبد السيد بن عبد العزيز بن أبي الفخر الحسيني الهروي أخو أبي علي عبد الأعلى، من أهل هراة.هو وأخوه من أسباط أبي عروبة عبد الهادي بن عبد الله الأنصاري. وكان صحيح السماع، ولم يكن بمرضي السيرة على ما بلغني. وسمعنا منه في حالة التوبة. سمع: أبا عبد الله محمد بن علي العميري، وأبا عطاء عبد الأعلى بن عبد الواحد المليحي، وأبا سهل نجيب بن ميمون بن سهل الواسطي، وغيرهم. سمعت منه بهراة في النوبة الأولى.
