شيخ آخر: هو أبو الفضل عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي الفضل البوينجي الجويباري من أهل قرية جويبار. كان شيخا صالحا متميزا، من أهل الخير. كان من أصحاب جدي الإمام أبي المظفر السمعاني، ويحضر درسه، وسمّع بقراءته أبا محمد عبد الله بن أحمد السمرقندي. سمع منه كتاب شرف أصحاب الحديث لأبي بكر الخطيب. قرأت عليه ذلك الكتاب، وما سمع منه أحد الحديث إلا بقراءتي. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة خمسين وأربع مائة.ووفاته بقرية جويبار ليلة الخميس الثالث عشر من ذي الحجة، سنة ثمان وعشرين وخمس مائة، وقيل في ذي القعدة.
