شيخ آخر: هو أبو الفتح عبد الله بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن شاذان بن محمد بن محمد بن علويه السعيدي السرخسي يعرف بعبد الله بوسعيدة، من أهل سرخس. كان إمامًا فاضلًا فقيهًا، أديبًا لبيبًا. سمع: أبا الحسن الليث بن الحسن الليثي، وأبا نصر زهير بن الحسن الخدامي، والسيد أبا الحسن محمد بن محمد بن زيد الحسيني الحافظ، وغيرهم. سمع منه الإمام والدي، ﵀، وأدركته بسرخس، ولم يتفق أن والدي أحضرني عنده، وسمع أخي أبا المظفر عنه شيئًا.كتب إلي الإجازة بجميع مسموعاته. وكانت ولادته سنة إحدى وثلاثين وأربع مائة. ووفاته يوم التروية من ذي الحجة، سنة ثلاث وعشرين وخمس مائة بسرخس.
