شيخ آخر: هو أبو العلاء صاعد بن الحسين بن الحسن بن إسماعيل بن صاعد الصاعدي القاضي من أهل نيسابور.من بيت القضاء والعلم. والده الحسين أبو الفضل أجاز لي جميع مسموعاته. وأما صاعد سمع: أبا بكر أحمد بن علي بن خلف الشيرازي الأديب. سمعت منه أحاديث من مجالس ابن خلف. وتوفي بنيسابور يوم الأحد الخامس من شعبان سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وخمس مائة، ودفن بمقبرة سكة القصارين.
