شيخ آخر: هو أبو محمد سعد بن أبي منصور بن أبي الحسين الصالحاني الأصبهاني شاب صالح عالم، من أهل أصبهان، لقيته بواسط، وسمع معي الحديث من شيوخها، وكتبت عنه شيئًا يسيرًا، وذلك في شوال، سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وخمس مائة.أنشدنا أبو محمد الصالحاني من لفظه بواسط، وكتب لي بخطه: لي في كراهية الفصاد سريرة ... تخفى على غير المحب المغرم أفنى دمي حتى إذا أفنى الهوى ... دمعي لبعدك ناب عن دمعي دمي أنشدنا أبو محمد الصالحاني بواسط لبعضهم: عزمت على الفصد يا سيدي ... لفضل دم كضنى مؤلم فلما تأخرت عن مجلسي ... أرقت بغير افتصادي دمي
