شيخ آخر: هو أبو محمد سعد بن محمد بن عبد الجبار بن علي بن محمد بن حسكان الإسفراييني الإمامي من أهل نيسابور. كان إمامًا فاضلًا بارعًا أصوليًا. سمع: أبا الحسن علي بن محمد بن علي بن البحاثي الزوزني الأديب، وأبا سعد محمد بن عبد الرحمن الكنجروذي الأديب. سمع منه الإمام والدي كتاب شعار أصحاب الحديث للحاكم أبي أحمد، بروايته عن الكنجروذي، عنه.كتب إلي الإجازة بجميع مسموعاته بخطه في جمادى الأولى سنة تسع وخمس مائة. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة أربعين وأربع مائة فيما أظن. ووفاته. . . . .
