شيخ آخر: هو أبو نصر خلف بن عبد الكريم بن خلف بن طاهر بن محمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن يوسف الشحامي من أهل نيسابور. من بيت الحديث والعدالة والتزكية. وكان ظريفًا، حسن الخط، مليح الكتابة، متوددًا. سمع: أبا نصر عبد الجبار بن سعيد بن محمد البحيري، وأبا علي نصر الله بن أحمد بن عثمان الخشنامي، وغيرهما. لقيته بنيسابور وسرخس ومرو، وكتبت عنه بنيسابور شيئًا يسيرًا. وكانت ولادته. . . . . وأربع مائة. ووفاته في الثامن والعشرين من المحرم، سنة ست وأربعين وخمس مائة، ودفن بمقبرة الحسين.
