شيخ آخر: هو أبو محمد خالد بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن محمد المديني المعدل الزغرتاني من أهل هراة، أحد الشهود المعدلين. سمع: أبا عبد الله محمد بن عبد العزيز بن محمد الفارسي. كتب إلي الإجازة بجميع مسموعاته من قرية زغرتان بتحصيل صاحبنا أبي القاسم علي بن الحسن بن هبة الله الدمشقي. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ستين وأربع مائة. ووفاته سنة نيف وثلاثين وخمس مائة.
