شيخ آخر: هو أبو سعد حمزة بن الحسين بن علي القايني المقرئ الصوفي من أهل غزنة. كان شيخًا صالحًا، عالمًا صوفيًا، سديد السيرة، من أهل العلم والقرآن.سمع: أبا عثمان سعيد بن أبي سعيد العيار الصوفي، وأبا طاهر محمد بن إبراهيم الخوارزمي، وأبا الفضل عبد الله بن أحمد بن أبي الفضل الطوسي المقرئ، وأبا علي الحسن بن الحسين بن منصور المصباحي، وأبا بكر محمد بن مروان بن محمد بن عزيز الهروي، وأبا النجح منجح بن عبد الملك بن محمد الجرجاني، وأبا عبد الرحمن أحمد بن الحسين بن محمد بن هارون الحافظ، وغيرهم. وكتب إلي الإجازة بجميع مسموعاته في رجب سنة ثلاث عشرة وخمس مائة. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ثلاثين وأربع مائة.
