شيخ آخر: هو أبو الفرج حمد بن الحسن بن الفرج بن محمد بن الحسين الهمذاني المعروف بعجيب الزمان من أهل همذان. كان ضريرًا، فاضلًا، كثير المحفوظ. سمع: أبا الفضل عبد الواحد بن علي بن أحمد بن يوغه الكرابيسي، وأبا الفضل القاسم بن أبي حرب الجرجاني، وأبا الفتح عبدوس بن عبد الله بن عبدوس البجلي، وأبا القاسم نصر بن محمد بن علي بن زيرك المقرئ الصواف وغيرهم. كتبت عنه بهمذان في النوبة الثانية منصرفي من بغداد شيئًا يسيرًا. وكانت ولادته في سنة ست وستين وأربع مائة على ما نظنه ونقدره. ووفاته. . . . .
