شيخ آخر: هو أبو الفضائل الحسين بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن محمد بن مهرة الحداد المقرئ من أهل أصبهان. كان شيخًا سديدًا، من أهل الحديث وبيته. أفاده أخوه أبو نعيم الحافظ، عن جماعة من الشيوخ. سمع: أباه أبا علي المقرئ، وأبا منصور محمد بن أحمد بن علي بن شكرويه الباهلي، وأبا الحسن أحمد بن عبد الرحمن الذكواني، وأبا سعيد رجاء بن عبد الواحد بن قولويه، وأبا بكر محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن الحسن بن ماجه، وأبا مسعود سليمان بن إبراهيم الوراق الحافظ، وجدي الإمام أبا المظفر منصور بن محمد السمعاني، وغيرهم. وكانت ولادته. . . . .
