شيخ آخر: هو أبو نصر إلياس بن أحمد بن محمود البامنجي الصوفي، من أهل بامئين قصبة باذغيس. كان شيخا صالحا، صوفيا، يسكن خانقاه الخطيب بها، وكان كثير الأكل والتناول، وكان إذا فرغ من الأكل وقام من السفرة ترك عدة من الحصى في فيه، وكان يحركها، فسئل عن ذلك؟ فقال: أنا لا أشبع من الطعام، فإذا أكلت القدر الذي تيسر تركت الحصى في فِيَّ لأشتغل بتحريكها، كأني أمضغ شيئا. سمع أبا سعد أحمد بن يوسف الخطيب البامنجي. وكانت ولادته في حدود سنة ستين وأربع مائة. ووفاته سنة إحدى أو اثنتين وأربعين وخمس مائة ببامئين.
