شيخ آخر: هو أبو القاسم إسماعيل بن محمد بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الوهاب الكاغذي، من أهل مدينة، يقال لها: جي، على باب أصبهان.كان من الشيوخ المسندين المعمرين الصالحين، من بيت الصلاح والحديث. سمع أبا بكر محمد بن عبد الله بن ريذة الضبي، وأبا محمد عبد الله بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن يحيى الكروني. سمع منه جماعة كثيرة. وكتب إلي الإجازة بجميع مسموعاته. وكانت ولادته. . . . . . . . . . . وتوفي في يوم الخميس التاسع والعشرين من ذي القعدة سنة أربع عشرة وخمس مائة، بأصبهان، وكان يصلي صلاة الظهر فمات فِي التشهد.
