ذِكْرُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ بِشْرِ بْنِ وَقْشٍ ﵁ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ﵁، أَنْصَارِيٌّ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا، وَكَانَ أَحَدَ الْمُجْتَهِدِينَ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَضَاءَ لَهُ الْعَصَا فِي اللَّيْلِ فَمَشَى فِي ضَوْئِهَا. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ﵂، قَالَتْ: تَهَجَّدَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَتَهَجَّدَ عَبَّادٌ فِي بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، فَسَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ صَوْتَهُ، فَقَالَ: «يَا عَائِشَةُ، هَذَا صَوْتُ عَبَّادٍ» ، قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ عَبَّادًا» .
