سمرة بن معير بن لوذان بن سعد بن جمح: أبو محذورة مؤذن النبي ﷺ، نزل الشام، وقيل: أوس. روى عنه: ابنه عبد الملك، وعبد الله بن محيريز، وعبد الله بن أبي مليكة. روى مروان الفزاري، عن أبي يونس، عن ابن أبي مليكة، عن أبي محذورة: أن النبي ﷺ علمه الأذان.أخبرنا علي بن إبراهيم الوراق بمكة، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن جعفر الجمال، قال: حدثنا ابن حميد، قال: حدثنا هارون بن المغيرة، عن عنبسة، عن كثير بن زاذان، عن أبي سلمان، عن أبي محذورة، قال: أذنت لصلاة الفجر، فلما قلت: حي على الصلاة، قلت: الصلاة خير من النوم، مرتين، الله أكبر، الله أكبر، لا إله إلا الله، فدعاني النبي ﷺ، فمسح ناصيتي، فما مسها أحد بعد. ـ
