السائب بن العوام بن خويلد : أخو الزبير، ابن عمة النبي ﷺ، استشهد يوم اليمامة.أخبرنا محمد بن يعقوب، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، قال: حدثنا يونس بن بكير، عن ابن إسحاق، قال: واستشهد يوم اليمامة من المسلمين ممن حفظنا اسمه منهم، من بني عبد الدار بن قصي، ومن بني أسد بن عبد العزى: السائب بن العوام بن خويلد، رجل. روى إبراهيم بن الفراء، عن عائذ بن حبيب، عن هشام بن عروة، عن عروة: أن صفية ولدت الزبير والسائب، فقتل السائب يوم اليمامة. ـ
