روح بن زنباع بن سلامة الجذامي يكنى أبا زرعة عداده في أهل مصر، أدرك النبي ﷺ، ولا تصح له صحبة، ولأبيه زنباع رؤية. روى عنه: عبيدة بن عبد الرحمن، وابنه سلمة بن روح. أخبرنا أحمد بن الحسن بن عتبة الرازي بمصر، قال: حدثنا أبو الزنباع روح بن الفرج، حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن الحارث، أن بكر بن سوادة حدثه، أن عبيدة بن عبد الرحمن حدثه، عن روح بن الزنباع: عن النبي ﷺ، قال: «الإيمان حتى جبال جذام، وبارك الله في جذام» .ـ
