دكين بن سعيد الخثعمي ويقال: المزني. روى عنه: قيس بن أبي حازم، عداده في أهل الكوفة. أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن زياد، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية. ح: وحدثنا محمد بن عمر بن حفص، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن عبد الله الجمحي، قال: حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد، جميعا عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد، عن قيس بن أبي حازم، عن دكين بن سعيد المزني، قال: أتينا رسول الله ﷺ أربعين راكبًا وأربعمائة نسأل الطعام، ثم ذكر الحديث.رواه معتمر بن سليمان، ومروان بن معاوية، وابن أبي زائدة وجماعة، عن إسماعيل. ـ
