خالد بن البكير بن عبد ياليل حليف بني عدي بن كعب، شهد بدرًا، وهو الذي بعثه النبي ﷺ مع عبد الله بن جحش عينًا إلى عير قريش. أخبرنا محمد بن يعقوب، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، قال: حدثنا يونس بن بكير، عن محمد بن إسحاق: في تسمية من شهد بدرًا، قال: وخالد بن البكير، حليف بني عدي بنكعب. أخبرنا إسماعيل بن عمرو السمرقندي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن حامد، قال: حدثنا علي بن إسحاق، قال: محمد بن مروان، عن محمد بن السائب، عن أبي صالح، عن ابن عباس، أنه قال: بعث النبي ﷺ خالد بن البكير مع عبد الله بن جحش في طلب عير قريش، ثم ذكر الحديث.
