خالد بن أسيد الأموي أخو عتاب بن أسيد.روى عنه: ابنه عبد الرحمن عداده في أهل الحجاز. أخبرنا الحسن بن محمد بن إسحاق ومحمد بن أبي محمد، قالا: حدثنا محمد بن زكريا النصري، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عمر الرومي، قال: حدثنا أشعث بن سعيد أبو الربيع السمان، عن عمرو بن دينار، عن يحيى بن جعدة، عن عبد الرحمن بن خالد بن أسيد، عن أبيه: أن النبي ﷺ أهل حين راح إلى منى. هذا حديث غريب لا يعرف إلا بهذا الإسناد.
