الأسود بن مالك الأسدي اليماني أخو الحدرجان بن مالك، ولأخيه وفادة على النبي ﷺ. أخبرنا محمد بن نافع الخزاعي، والحسن بن أبي الحسن العسكري، قالا: حدثنا محمد بن أحمد بن حماد، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم الرملي، قال: حدثنا هشام بن محمد بن هاشم بن جزء بن عبد الرحمن بن جزء بن الحدرجان بن مالك، قال: حدثني أبي، عن أبيه، عن جده، قال: حدثني أبي جزء بن الحدرجان، قال: قدمت أنا وأخي الأسود على رسول الله ﷺ، فآمنا به وصدقناه، وكان جزء والأسود قد خدما النبي ﷺ وصحباه.هذا حديث غريب، لا يعرف إلا بهذا الإسناد، تفرد به إسحاق الرملي.
