٣٣١١ ـ بركة بنت ثعلبة بن عمرو بن حصين بن مالك بن سلمة بن عمرو بن النعمان: وهى أم أيمن. غلبت عليها كنيتها، كنيت بابنها أيمن بن عبيد، وهى بعد: أم أسامة ابن زيد، تزوجها زيد بن حارثة بعد عبيد الحبشى، فولدت له أسامه بن زيد. يقال لها: مولاة رسول الله ﷺ. وتعرف بأم الظباء. هاجرت الهجرتين، إلى أرض الحبشة، وإلى المدينة جميعا. ذكر المفضل بن غسان الغلابى، عن الواقدى، قال: كانت أم أيمن اسمها بركة، وكانت لعبد الله بن عبد المطلب، وصارت للنبى ﷺ ميراثا، وهى أم أسامة بن زيد.
