٢٧٤٠ ـ اليسع بن زيد بن سهل الزينبى المكى، أبو نصر: حدث بمكة فى سنة اثنتين وثمانين ومائتين، عن سفيان بن عيينة، وهو آخر من حدث عنه فى الدنيا. وعنه عبد الله بن محمد بن موسى الكعبى النيسابورى. هكذا ذكره الذهبى فى «تاريخ الإسلام»، وذكره أيضا فى «المغنى» بنحو من ذلك، لأنه اختصر تاريخ تحديثه بمكة، والراوى عنه، ولم يقل «ابن زيد» إنما قال: «ابن سهل». كذا وجدت بخطى، ولعل المخالفة منى، والله أعلم بالصواب. وقال: لا أعلم لأحد فيه كلاما، ولكن أتى بخبر منكر بإسناد صحيح. انتهى.
